Description
Client is looking for a skilled Web Developer & Systems Integrator to join The Hospitality Network. In this role, you will translate high-fidelity Figma design files into fully responsive, interactive, and functional Webflow websites. Key responsibilities include pixel-perfect implementation, CMS setup, advanced animations, portal development, data visualisation, and optimizing for speed and SEO. The role requires proficiency in HTML/CSS, Webflow interactions, and UI/UX best practices, as well as familiarity with automation and data tools used across client’s operations. This role sits at the intersection of design, development, and systems thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Figma to Webflow Conversion: Translating Figma wireframes/mockups into live Webflow sites with high accuracy.
• Responsive Web Development: Building pixel-perfect layouts across all screen sizes (desktop, tablet, mobile).
• Webflow CMS & Interactions: Setting up dynamic Content Management Systems (CMS) and implementing complex animations or scroll interactions.
• Website Maintenance & Updates: Updating content, images, and page layouts, often using CMS tools like WordPress.
• Collaboration: Working with designers and marketers to refine UI/UX and maintain brand consistency.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Debugging code, fixing broken links/images, and ensuring site uptime.
• Performance Optimization: Monitoring and improving page loading speeds, responsiveness, and mobile compatibility.
• Security & Server Management: Configuring servers, implementing security updates, and performing backups to prevent data loss or breaches.
• SEO & Analytics: Reviewing on-page SEO, monitoring site traffic through tools like Google Analytics, and implementing improvements.
• User Experience (UX): Ensuring the site is intuitive, accessible (ADA compliance), and functions correctly across different browsers and devices.
• Portal Development & Management: Building and maintaining internal and client facing portals including event registration portals, digital directories, leave management systems, line manager portals, and calendar invite portals.
• Automation & Integration: Setting up and managing workflow automations using Zapier and Mailchimp automation sequences to streamline marketing and operational processes.
• Data Visualisation & Reporting: Converting raw data into visual dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to support business decisions and event reporting.
• Domain & Server Management: Managing domain registration and DNS settings via GoDaddy and deploying/hosting web applications using Digital Ocean infrastructure.
• API & Third-Party Integrations: Building and integrating APIs to connect internal portals, CMS platforms, and third-party tools, enabling seamless data flow and automation across company’s systems.
• Existing Systems: Supporting the development and maintenance of existing internal systems, ensuring they remain functional, up to date, and integrated with broader company’s operations.
• Task & Project Management: Managing and tracking all development tasks, sprint progress, and project milestones in ClickUp, ensuring visibility and accountability across the team.
• Cross-Browser & Accessibility Testing: Ensuring all web builds comply with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and function correctly across all major browsers and devices.
• Technical Documentation: Maintaining clear documentation for all systems, portals, and integrations built, including setup guides, change logs, and process notes for internal reference.
• Systems Thinking & Continuous Improvement: Regularly reviewing existing tools, portals, and workflows to identify inefficiencies, and proactively proposing and implementing technical solutions, automations, or system improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Expertise in Webflow: Deep understanding of Webflow’s native CMS, interactions, and structure.
• Proficiency in Figma: Ability to navigate design files, extract assets, and understand prototyping.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• CMS Experience: Experience with content management systems such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
• Tools & Platforms: Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics), SEO best practices, and web server administration.
• Automation Tools: Proficiency in Zapier for workflow automation and Mailchimp for email automation and campaign management.
• Data Visualisation: Working knowledge of Tableau and Power BI for converting data into visual reports and interactive dashboards.
• Infrastructure & Hosting: Experience with Digital Ocean for server and application hosting, and GoDaddy for domain and DNS management.
• Detail-Oriented: Focused on delivering pixel-perfect results.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in web development, programming, or a related role.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• API & Integrations: Familiarity with REST APIs and connecting third-party services to enable automated data flows between platforms.
• Accessibility & Standards: Understanding of WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines and cross-browser compatibility testing to ensure inclusive and functional web experiences.
• Version Control: Working knowledge of Git for source code management, version tracking, and collaborative development.
• Project Management: Comfortable working in ClickUp to manage tasks, track progress, and collaborate across teams.
